Peter Matthew
Pete has been an adviser for eleven years, working for two leading life assurers before becoming an IFA in 2000.
A stint working for a firm of Solicitors in Helston led Pete to specialise in trusts and investments, with a particular emphasis on estate planning. He holds the Advanced Planning Certificate and is one of only two Certified Financial Planners in Cornwall, confirming his commitment to providing high quality financial planning advice, and to reaching the very top of his profession. He is currently working towards becoming a Chartered Financial Planner.
Pete joined Jacksons in 2005, and bought into the firm in 2007. He now serves as Managing Director of the company.
He is married to Joanne, a ‘proper’ Cornish girl and has two young daughters at whose school he acts as Finance Governor. He is a keen musician, playing piano and drums, and is a committed member of his local church. He also enjoys walking the coastal path and playing squash very badly indeed.
